Fifteen

"Well...." Kailee thought as she looked at Trenton who was expectantly awaiting her response.

"Get in" Trenton said un-amused. Kailee slid into the opened door and reached for the buckle as Trenton shut the door and returned to the driver's side. As soon as his door was closed he turned to her his face was emotionless his lips pulled into a straight line. "Talk" he told her.

Kailee told Trenton about her day not forgetting to mention the girl who stood angrily in front of her and had been thrown into the wall. Then she told him about how she had been hit on by a guy in her first class yet she had left out, intentionally, the part about punching him. And the part she was dreading the worst, the part with her new school guard, Zach. The part which she hoped Trenton would go easy on the poor nice guy, she had saved for last.

With every bad event one right after another Trenton growled and rumbled until they were finally at the mansion. Trenton had left the car out in the driveway, he opened Kailee's door and even the house door for her like he normally would but as soon as the door had closed he roared an ear piercing howl which had half of the guys in the pack house rushing from all directions to get to him.

"Alpha, what's wrong?" came from every direction.

"Pack meeting in two hours; every male and female within fifty miles from here." He snapped. Then grabbed Kailee's hand and dragged her into the infirmary. The doctor was already waiting for them when they arrived.

“Kailee” the doctor said slowly looking over at Trenton for consent first. Trenton nodded and the doctor rushed forward “What happened?” He asked worriedly.

Kailee looked worriedly between the doctor and Trenton. She hadn’t told him what happened just yet and really didn’t want to. An accident, non intentional; was all she could think when she finally spoke. “We were in gym and …” Kailee looked down at the floor nervously, “It was an accident.” She said.

“What happened.” Trenton growled frustrated.

“It was unintentional.” She insisted.

“Who did it Kai?” Trenton hissed.

“He didn’t mean to.” She evaded.

“I don’t care if it was intentional or not. I want to know who did it!” Trenton snapped. Kailee shuttered she knew he would never let her leave without telling him.

Kailee only got out the first letter of the name and Trenton snarled knowing who had done it. “Fix her up!” He snapped at the doctor before rushing out of the room.

The doctor sighed and helped Kailee up onto the bed to examine her arm. “It’s dislocated and I think you’ll need a few stitches.” Kailee nodded. The doctor frowned. “I need assistance for this. I’ll be back in a moment.”

“Keep him in here.” The doctor demanded as he pointed to Trenton. “Jake … I need your help with Kailee’s arm.”

“Do I really?” Jake sighed.

“I don’t think we can let anyone else. We wouldn’t want her brother to do it… we would have a two alpha war; when she screams.
